Butler SJP Film Screening and Dinner
On November 6th, Butler students will unite in a Fast for Gaza. The goal is to show solidarity with those in Gaza who are being starved by Israel and the United States. As those who are fasting, we demand divestment by our institutions, including Butler University and our state and federal governments, from weapons manufacturers and war technology. We demand an immediate arms embargo on the State of Israel and a full stop on our taxes being used for genocide.

JVP Indiana Sukkot Shabbat for All
Following the march to the Governor’s mansion, Indiana United Against Genocide will join us for our monthly Shabbat for All, which this month features Sukkot rituals. Sukkot is a harvest festival that also recalls the precarious journey to freedom. This year, the temporary shelter or sukkah reminds us that the Israeli military’s destruction of Gaza has made finding safe shelter—even in tents—nearly impossible for over 2 million people. We remain committed to solidarity until liberation for Palestinians and for us all.
